Cattaraugus-Little Valley Central School has been growing its agricultural education program over the last several years and in April had a ceremonial groundbreaking to celebrate the addition of a new barn and classroom. Superintendent Dr. Sharon Huff, Agriculture Teacher & FFA Advisor Katie Mitrowski, students and representatives from the design and construction firms attended the event.
The new facility will allow the students to have more hands-on education, use the facility for FFA Supervised Agricultural Experence Projects and give them the opportunity to be solely responsible for raising, marketing and selling animals produced in the facility.
